You know the more I read about you the more you remind me of me!!LOL Our families are simular, yeah mine are Muslim Alhumduillah but things keep us from being as close as I would like.
Living overseas is another thing. I think you feel about the same way I do and you make the best with the situation yuor in. I have not been home for 3 years. I too do not want my kids to go running back when they get older. My oldest daughter will be happy doing her University classes online and IF she needs to go back for schooling that will be about it.
I will go home to visit but not often. I have business to take care of next summer so inshaallah we will go then, visit a few folks and thats it for maybe 4 yrs.
This living overseas thing is lonely at times but I am happier here than I was at home. I had my crazy moment a little while ago but that is over and I am back to the real me…..ALHUMDUILLAH!!!!
