Well in that case, accept Islam for your salavation.

What exactly is your basis or standard, for your free choice? If your criteria is that of a free society in a secular system, then you basically are accepting the whims and desires of an ever changing society. This is a very filmsy foundation to base ones morals and vaules on. Worse you are doing the very thing you claim to be avoiding by not believing in ‘man made religion’, because you will more than likely turn to other human beings like yourself for answers. Even worse you fail to worship this one God that you claim to worship and in reality you worship your own ‘free will’.

“Have you seen the one who has taken his own desire as his god? Would you then be a guardian over him?” [Al-Furqan:43].

God sent His revalation through Prophets and Messengers, so that we know our purpose, because human beings are incapable of arriving at the correct answers themselves. Human beings also have a great capacity for self delusion, hence your comment about not wanting to relieve yourself of free will. The only illusion about that is that you think the will is yours in the first place. Everything that happens is from the Will or Decree of God. You – ‘Unbeliever’, merely have the freedom of choice. If one wants to use his freedom of choice to wander aimlessly though life, then that may not be the best choice.

You claim to  believe in One God and you know that you are a product of His Creation, yet you have not considered that you were created for a specific purpose. If we were to take a poll and ask, ‘What our purpose in life is?’ or ‘Why were we created?’ No doubt we would get various different answers and opinions. However,  if we look at the Quran, we will find out that the purpose of our lives is clearly defined.

“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?”

“O Mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those before you so that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (i.e. those who have taqwaa).” Al-Baqarah (2):21

“And I created not the Jinns and men except that they may worship Me (Alone).” Adh-Dhaariyaat (51):56

And Allah says, describing the attitude of ‘Unbelievers’ such as yourself towards the wisdom of His creation:

And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.” Saad 38:27

“Then whosoever wills let him believe, and whosoever wills let him disbelieve.” al-Kahf (18):29

Clearly, God has addressed concerns like yours, (which has increased me in faith just knowing how simple it was to compile this response to you) in His final revelation – The Quran – though His last and final Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). We have been informed of our purpose and were shown the way to achieve it. The choice is ours.

“And surely, We have created many of the jinn and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones” [al-A’raaf 7:179]
